Summit Storage Products

COMPANY HISTORY

Summit began as a small sheet metal fabricator in Perth, Western Australia manufacturing light gauge steel shelving in 1980 in response to demand from Australian retailers for a high quality Australian made product.

In the early 1990s Summit launched the revolutionary Hammer lok products. This heavy duty free standing shelving with its tap together assembly has continually developed over the years to become one of the most outstanding boltless shelving systems in the world.

In the late 1990s Summit introduced the Safe-T-Brac wall mounted strip and bracket shelving system which compliments their melamine Finest Shelving range.

In 2001 Space Module storage furniture is introduced. This is an extensive range of ready to assemble melamine storage furniture which is designed specifically with the needs of the large hardware retailer in mind.

In 2005 Storcraft melamine storage furniture is launched to combat the lower cost imported products entering the Australian market.

In 2006 manufacturing facilities were developed in Melbourne to provide a quicker lead time for east coast retailers. With duplicate productions lines in Perth and Melbourne Summit has been able to offer a service that cannot be matched by importers and this has been warmly received by stockists throughout Australia.
